a lawyer, an ombudsman for Kosovo, a co-founder of the Helsinki Commitee in Poland. From 1993 -1999 a member of the European Commission of Human Rights in Strasbourg. He is the author of the study Kamienie milowe (Milestones), Orzecznic-two Europejskiego Trybunału Praw Człowieka (Rulings of the European Human Rights Tribunal), among other works.
