His area of research includes the theory of penal law, comparative legal systems, particularly European continental law, Anglo-Saxon law and Islamic law. The author of Die Reform der deutschen Hauptverhandlung nach dem Vorblid des anglo-amerikanischen Strafverfarhrens, among other publications.
