a lawyer, lectures at the Jagiellonian University. In 1993-1997 a lecturer at the Academy of Legal Theory in Brussels, from 1995-1999 a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association for the Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy. A member of the Law Sciences Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, his area of research is the analytic philosophy of law.
